Welcome

Welcome! I’m glad you’re spending a few moments with me here. It is astounding to think that in this small corner of the blogger world, women from across the globe can experience the adventure of growing together in Christ. I never planned to grow up and be a blogger but writing blogs allows me to disciple more women than I would ever have opportunity to actually meet.My reason for writing is that I have to. This driving impulse to communicate God’s reality and goodness to others is like a burning fire. Because of who He is, the desire for others to know and love Him consumes me. He is my passion and I don’t want to waste a single day, but cram each moment full of living all out for His glory. I long for the day when all will know that He alone is God.I think this burning may be like what the prophet Jeremiah described:But if I say, “I will not remember Him or speak anymore in His name,” then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire shut up in my bones; and I am weary of holding it in, and I cannot endure it. (Jeremiah 20:9).My purpose for this blog is to spread that fire by encouraging women to live ALL out for God’s glory.

I hope this site will serve as iron sharpening iron as we encourage one another. I desire for this to be a community where He is exalted; where we can share stories of His transforming power. I want us to shout His Name and works here, but also to sit quietly at His feet and dig deeply into His Word.

His desire is to fill the earth with His glory and I’m inviting you to join me in this grand pursuit.

Will you join me?

    Hello,
I heard you speak at revive our hearts in 2012. Something about your story was familiar. i am in the process of reading your book fierce woman..every time i pick it up i am blessed that i did.
    My question to you is,
Can you give me better clarity on how exactly our marriage is a picture of how Christ loved the church? I would love to read scriptures or commentary’s that you have on the relation to Christ and the marriage union. I feel the LORD leading me to do a full study on this..not sure where to start other than the SWORD of course!..
    thank you so much,
    Tanya

      Hello Tanya,

I’m glad you are reading the book. Chapter 11 covers your question pretty thoroughly. Also, see Ephesians 5:22–33, if you have a good study Bible (the John MacArthur or the ESV Study Bible are good resources), it will be helpful in digging deeper into this topic.

Enjoy diving into this beautiful mystery!

  4. March 3 13 You had a blog on the TW site that said you would be writing the next week on seeking God. I may have missed it. Could you direct me to the new blog? I need to know more.

I have been separated from my husband for the last 2 months. I don’t want a divorce, however I don’t want the marriage I have right now; I want the Lord to do a new thing in/through us. Please pray for wisdom and discernment for me…

  7. Yesterday at Lebanon Valley Church your video was my life. Even though we are now on the way back to a great marriage, we have a few steps to go. Please pray for my husband and I. Three years ago I re-dedicated myself to God, when that happened He began to respond to my prayers again. Talking with Him like you said is so important and I’m spreading the word in my blog as well as my Facebook page. My most loved ministry is being an email responder for the Billy Graham Assoc. Hearing from people all over the world. God has a answered so many prayers for me just in the last three years that I am forever faithful and loving to Him. Thank you for your ministry Kimberly. I will be praying for you.

It was a pleasure meeting you at your speaking engagement, study, and video at the Lebanon Valley Bible Church in PA! It was directed to the core of our hearts, especially mine! I heard you speak on the radio about your “Fierce Woman” book so it was a blessing to get to hear you in person! It was a special gift when you presented all the Biblical strengths and encouragements plus the truth to face ourselves. I know I am still a work in progress and will be till the Lord calls me home, I have experienced much in my life time of 71 yrs so I want God to use all my past, present, and future for his glory and for the good to help others. God bless your ministry for your devotion to God and family!

Please contact “Revive Our Hearts” and ask for the December 3, 2015, post of Roger Hamilton [a post Ms. DeMoss scrubbed off her site (“An Angry Heart Turns”) within less than ten hours]. I assumed “reviveourhearts” was more closely associated with your work, and therefore, I believed you would have received my post. Unfortunately, I apparently did not save a copy of my post.

Do you by any chance have a small group guide I could use? I am a therapist and would like to use your books the basis for the group.
    Thanks

      Hello, Carole ~

I am so sorry that I don’t have a companion study guide written yet, yes that is on my “to do” list. So much to write, so little time! This year my husband and I have been working on a book for men: “Men Who Love Fierce Women: The Power of Servant Leadership” and it will be released in September.

Several groups across the country, and the world (amazes me), have used the book with the “Heart Issues” questions with the Scriptures that are at the end of each chapter to have a discussion/small group study time weekly as they read through the book together. When I’m able, I often meet through SKYPE or FaceTime with the group for one session, to offer prayer and words of encouragement. I would be glad to do that if you hold a group study, if we can work out the scheduling.

I hope you’ll also plug in here by subscribing to receive the daily blog by email.

Let me know if I can serve you in any way, blessings ~
