Hello Kimberly,
I want to thank you so much for writing the book “Fierce Woman.” It has truly ministered to me immensely. It has been in my heart to facilitate a women’s group using your book. I will be using the questions at the end of each chapter to guide my group. I will be meeting twice a month on Thursdays. I was wondering
if you had a study guide to go along with it. Let me know. Thank you again and hope to hear from you soon. My address is: 8760 Natoma Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453. My cell Z# 773.727.6453. God bless.
I am SO EXCITED that you are leading a group thorough “Fierce Women!” We hope to develop a study guide at some point, but don’t have that available, yet, so sorry. Several groups have been through the book together using the questions at the end of each chapter and also sharing portions of the reading or Scriptures that God used to speak personally to each woman. I’ve also called in for a SKYPE call with certain groups before to pray for them on their opening night of the study. Let me know if you’d be interested in that and we’ll see if we can get our schedules to work together.
Looking forward to hearing back from you to know how the study is going!
Pausing to pray for you know ~
Thank you for your quick response. I already preordered 20 books for the class I will facilitate. I will get back to you to see if we can Skype since the area in which I might be in our church does not get good reception. It would be so awesome for you to lead us in prayer as we begin our first class. The class would begin October 1, Thursday, at 7pm. The name of our church is: Christian Life Center 3409 Grove Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402. My cell number is 773.727.6453. I will get back to you soon.
Hi, Kimberly. I am so pleased God pointed me to your blog! With a friend, I am leading a creative worship retreat called “Fearless” in three weeks in OK (I am in Houston, my friend is in Ada, Oklahoma). We are “Bible journalers” and will be teaching creative activities and faith art as well as leading devotional and prayer time during our 3-day retreat. While I’ve been reading and preparing my devotional for one of the evenings, I keep being led to the word, “fierce”. So, I’m grabbing your book now and for the retreat, I’d like to hand out this page to my group. May I make copies and do that? There are only 12 of us. I hope that some of the ladies will seek out your book after participating in my devotional!
Hello, Melissa. So glad you’re digging into the Word as a “Bible journaler” that’s a great way to soak in truth and develop what I call a “faith marker” journal.
Yes, please make copies of any of the PDFs, I only ask that you keep the copyright info on the copies. Hope you’ll encourage your friends to subscribe to the blog. Normally, I send out posts 5 days per week, but right now, my husband and I are in a different season as we are dealing with an unexpected illness. You might read some of my recent posts that describe our current walk of faith.
Praying God meets with your group in significant ways during your retreat!
