Giving You a Peek

I would love to give away every copy of Fierce Women. It would be no problem to do that if there were no publishing costs. Knowing the folks at Moody, I think they would give away every copy free of charge if they could figure out how to do that and survive as a publishing company.

We won’t be giving away the entire book, but this month we’ll be doing some give-aways and letting you grab a few peeks at some of the book’s content. We’ll also have some pdf downloads that contain practical help for your marriage.

Why?

Why are we trying to get this message out?
Why are we promoting a book?
Why am I putting stuff on facebook and twitter about it and writing on this blog?

Why?

Because we are asking God to use the words scribbled here, the content of the book, and the links to articles I share with you on social media sites, to fill you with Truth. We are asking God to work radically in your life. We want you to hear the great things He’s done and be fueled with hope for what He can do in your life and in the Church at large.

We’re asking God to raise up a host of women who fiercely love their God and demonstrate that love for Him by living out the truth of His Word in the hard places of their lives. And we are inviting you to be a part of that host!

“The Lord gives the word; the women who announce the news are a great host” (Psalm 68:11)

Will you join us?

Leave a comment below expressing a specific work you desire for God to do in your life and we will choose 3 of you to send a copy of Fierce Women as our gift to you. Also, please send this link to your friends and encourage them to get in on this offer.

I’ve been hearing a message similar to what you are talking about off and on for 10 years now…and I ask myself, when will I get it right? What specific work do I want God to do in my life? Change my heart, free me from the sins that so easily entangle me, and let loose my mouth to speak His praise and His wonderful works.

Oh, Barbara that is a desire that the Father delights in responding to!

“The eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His . . .”
    2 Chronicles 16:9

The Father is seeking worshipers, those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23–24).

That is my heart’s cry as well. Thankfully, as we cry out to Him, seeking His Word, seeking to be right with Him, He draws us into a more intimate walk with Him. I will be posting more articles on this topic this month, so I hope you’ll stay connected here!

Praying for you to know a deeper walk with Christ as you soak in His truth!

    Kristi,

Such a sweet and God honoring desire. May you see God accomplish in your heart and marriage more than you can now think or imagine! (Ephesians 3:20)

My husband is not emotionally in our marriage and has not been there for years. Our stories have a lot of similarities. I was becomming so bitter and at the end of all I could take, I was planning on leaving. Then I heard your story. I am going before God and asking Him to show me what I should be doing. Not my will but His will. I am opening up my heart to God.

Oh, Dee, I am praying for you and your husband to experience Ephesians 3:20 in your marriage!

Your statement of surrender is the essential place to begin:
“I am going before God and asking Him to show me what I should be doing. Not my will but His will. I am opening up my heart to God.”

As you humble yourself before Him, God will be faithful to pour out His grace on your situation!

“. . . Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” (1 Peter 5:5)
