Imagine an atmosphere of worship fueled by thousands of women seeking God; women who are hungry to see Him work. Imagine women from across the globe and all 50 states coming together, in one location, to exalt Christ and seek to know Him more. Imagine a convention center filled with women who want to apply God’s truth to their lives in radical ways.
Imagine attending a conference where every single woman was prayed for before she arrived, a conference where designated prayer rooms are provided, where an army of godly men are interceding and going to battle in prayer for the women attending.
Imagine sitting under the teaching of the Word, delivered powerfully and winsomely under the anointing of the Spirit, by men and women who walk with God.
You don’t have to imagine it. That conference begins today!
Today, I’ll be joining with more than 8,000 women as we dig into God’s Word and seek God’s heart. We’re in Indianapolis at True Woman ’14 and I wish you could be here with us! (Or maybe you are here . . . if you’re a reader on the blog and you’re here at TW ’14, please come up and introduce yourself—I’d love to meet you!)
If you aren’t in Indy, you can live stream the conference.
Whether you are in Indy or across the globe, if you are reading this post, please stop and pray for a mighty movement of God. Ask Him to bring hope to women here who are despairing, to bring restoration to the broken, to provide the fellowship of the body of Christ for the lonely and to bring salvation to the lost.
While we are here in Indianapolis, may women drink deeply of the wells of God’s salvation:
[box]Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
And you will say in that day:
“Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.”
“Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth.” (Isaiah 12:2–5)[/box]
Will you join me in asking God to do a powerful work in our lives that will glorify His great name?
