And He Blows me Away, Again!

If we could sit down over a cup of coffee, you’d realize I’m a very ordinary woman. You’d recognize that I’m a sinner, a forgiven sinner and one in the process of growth, but still in the process, haven’t arrived at full maturity yet. I could tell you our story, could share with you the darkest years of our lives, and let you know that there were years that I struggled with hopelessness.

I thought that maybe God had forgotten.

I wondered what purpose He had in the pain.

I grieved over dreams lost.

Dark sorrow became my daily food.

In the darkness, I couldn’t see that He had a plan, I never would have dreamed what He would do, I couldn’t see beyond the pain. But God’s Word holds true. He does not lie.

[box]Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20–21)[/box]

Rescuing our marriage was more than enough. Giving us a love relationship, where we actually enjoy and appreciate one another, exceeded any expectations I had. Putting our story in book form was far beyond anything I ever considered. Inviting LeRoy and me to write a resource together that would help husbands—absolutely blew my mind!

But God continues to surprise me with His abundant works. I wasn’t expecting it, didn’t even know it was in the process, but God did. Once again He was orchestrating His work to spread His glory across the globe.

Walking down the lane to pick up the mail, enjoying the sweet smell of honeysuckles and the chattering birds, and thanking the Father for His good works, I never dreamed what I would find waiting for me in our little mailbox. The package from Moody Publishers contained two copies of Fierce Women translated into the French language . . . totally beyond all that I could ask or think . . . abundantly more than what I could dream!

God is spreading the story of His glorious work to couples across the globe.

If you know anyone who could use a copy, I hope you’ll send this post and this link where they can order the book. Please join me in asking God to reach French speaking women with the truth of who He created them to be and what He can do when we surrender all to Him!

He never ceases to amaze me. Period.

Kimberly – Congratulations on having your book go international! I was just thinking the other day about our languages in heaven. Will there be a new heavenly one for us to sing praises to the LORD, or will we all lift up our voices in our earthly native tongues with full understanding of one another?

  • Julie Musil

Kimberly, what beautiful work He has done. He has used your story to bless so many people, including me. For those of us who are in the midst of the “dark years,” your story gives us hope. Your story reminds us Who to cling to in the storms of life.

  • Kimberly Wagner

    Good question, Kelly 🙂

Good to hear from you, thanks for celebrating with me! Hope all is well with you and your crew.

Hope to return to your church one day, loved your women’s heart for the Word ~

  • Kimberly Wagner

Thank you, Julie, I’m so grateful that God has used our story to give you hope. It is so encouraging to see how you are clinging to Christ through your “dark years.” May He do more than you can yet imagine. You are growing in Him and He is being glorified–so let that fact encourage you when you can’t see all the God is up to.

He does see your pain, He knows your heart, and He cares . . . praying you experiencing tangible evidence of His deep love for you today, Julie ~

  • Vivian Etherington

Wow! Just wow, Kim! Yes– above and beyond what any of us could have thought or asked! Is there anything in the works to have it translated into Spanish?

  • Kimberly Wagner

Hello, Viv, I don’t know, but we can pray for that! Would love to see God provide this resource for Spanish-speaking women 🙂
