We weren’t very far into the marriage when I realized that I was way in over my head. I knew I could not be the husband that this woman (who seemed superior to me in every way) needed. I felt I couldn’t do anything right. I went into marriage thinking any woman would be “blessed” to have me, hate to admit that, but it’s true.
It didn’t take long for me to be convinced, not only was Kim not “blessed” by me, she could barely stand to be in the same room with me.
You may feel like an absolute failure, as I did, but I want to challenge you to rise up and grab onto grace. Men, God has everything you need, in order to be all that He’s called you to be to your wife.
His grace is sufficient and His Word is powerful. I encourage you to access the grace He has for you today!
Check out the power that is available to you:
[box]His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises . . . (1 Peter 1:3–4)[/box]
[box]But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
(2 Corinthians 12:9)[/box]
