    For those of you who’ve stayed with me all the way through our study of Colossians—way to go! I hope your love for this precious letter has grown as we’ve walked through it together. Every time I read it, my heart yearns to live out these truths fully!   • People Matter

    The last two days, I’ve encouraged you to investigate the people listed in the final section of Colossians chapter four. Today, I’m providing a few questions to help get you started in case you procrastinated or are hesitating to dig in (smile).   • The Deserter

    We’re winding up our study of Colossians and in our final section of the book we find many heroes of the faith, but there is also a deserter. His name is tucked into Col. 4:14 as he sends out greetings to the Colossians. Here we see him standing next to Paul, serving in ministry with him, but soon he will desert his post. When we think of a deserter, the name Beau Bergdahl may come to mind. This young man walked away from his post, his unit, his commitment, and his nation.
