My Christmas Card to You

My Christmas Card to You

From our family to yours, may you have a most blessed Christmas Day!

May your day be filled with joy and worship! If you are going to be with a houseful, I pray that you will have many opportunities to shine the light of Christ as you love on your loved ones! If you are lonely today, perhaps in a crowd but feeling isolated, I pray you will turn your heart upward and outward and find sweet communion with the One who cares for you as no other.

If this day marks a season of great loss and pain for your family, I’m pausing to pray for you now. As I write this post, I’m asking God to meet with those of you who associate this season with grief. For those who have an empty chair today, who have lost a precious loved one, I am praying for you. For those who are sitting at the bedside of a languishing loved one, I’m asking God to minister grace to you. For those who are walking through a long season of betrayal from your spouse, I’m asking God to fill you with faith and hope.

May the God of all comforts send comfort to each of you in the reminder that, because He sent His Son, one day there will be no more suffering, pain, or tears. Loss will be swallowed up in eternal life and unending joy! Our Redeemer has come, may you be filled with an awareness of His abiding presence today.

After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,

“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God . . .”

And a voice came from the throne, saying,

“Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great.” Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,

“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.”

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.

He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written,

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” (Revelation 19:1, 5–7, 11–14, 16; 21:3–5)

Merry Christmas, dear friends. Sent with love and prayers from us ~

Praying all the Joys Of Jesus will cover you both today as you Worship Him in Trust for His Precious will to flow over you! We just heard a powerful message on the simple but God filled hymn Away in the manger! It was from a young Minister who just lost his wife two weeks ago. His daughters are such loving young women, and I will never hear that song again the same! I pray if you read the works, and meditate on it, you too will get the same message we did!To think that a loving Jesus gave up His home with the Father he loved to come down to us and give us a way of salvation! Praise His Wonderful name! God with us forever! Have a blessed Christmas and know you are loved and prayed for!
